Rescues that we have had!!!!

We at Pekeapug love the statement by unknown author….  “Rescuing one dog may not change the world -
but for that one dog, the world will be changed forever”

We have had a few rescues come and go, and a few come and stay

Mr. Scully was our first that we rescued from the Edmonton SPCA.  Scully left us at the age of 15, sadly missed ..

Next was Cora, Cora was a little …hmmmhmm…..  Fawn pug…. hmmm  (we don’t have fawn pugs) but she was a cute as cute can be and I could not just leave her at the vet clinic.  She came home with me, we got her eye fixed to where she only need eye drops, she was spayed and is living with a wonderful couple Shawn and Kevin and her playmate Sasha.  Patty our little bitch from Kansas that turned out to be a pet is with Shawn’s mom Dorreen and I could not ask for a better home for etiher of these kids.. Thanks all.

Next for the Pug Club of Canada we had fostered Enzo and Bella…. oh wow….  wonderful dogs.  Bella was a brindle (not a purebred) and stole your heart from the minute you met her.  She has a new brother and visits him in Chicago on a regular basis until the family can be together again,  The unfortunate passing of Bella on Monday Aug 9, 2010 has left a big whole in our hearts and in the hearts of her mom and dad…  RIP Bella, you are surely missed, and loved.

Enzo, sweetest personality (Pug Club of Canada Rescue)

Enzo, well Enzo was a very special boy, he loved the attention he got here and is enjoying so much more with his new mommy.  Darcy has been the most wonderful lady we could have found for Enzo, she loves him to death and he is so happy being an only dog.   We receive regular updates on Enzo, and he is so happy and loved by Darcy… Thanks for keeping me posted and your condolences on Bella….

 Last but not least Mia, a Pekingese.   Mia was at the Edmonton SPCA as lost and found.   She was moved to adoptables 12 days later and I ran to the SPCA to take her away.  I found out she is Pagodapalace Gold Whisper.  Mia has a few issues and we are working on them.  She will be with Pekeapug until she passes to the rainbow bridge… which hopefully will be a long long time.’
